I was born in Seattle but grew up mostly in Dallas, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Happily, when I turned 17, I left Dayton and never went back. I ended up going to Brown University where I studied literature and film, and later went on to graduate school at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently I live in Los Angeles with my wife Lisa and our two cats.
